Privacy Policy

This page explains what information Flow Math stores and processes. Effective July 30, 2026.

1. Scope of service

Flow Math currently does not require account creation or sign-in and does not use advertising or user-behavior analytics. Core features, including writing and visualizing linear algebra notebooks, are available without an account.

2. Data stored on your device

Notebooks you write and some display settings are stored by default in your browser or the app’s local web storage. They are not automatically uploaded to Flow Math servers. You can remove this data by deleting Flow Math site data on that device.

3. Shared links

When you use the sharing feature, a notebook or playback state may be included in the shared URL. Anyone who receives the link can view the information it contains, so do not enter personal or sensitive information in notebooks or shared links.

4. Service delivery and security

Cloudflare, our hosting and network provider, may process device or connection information such as IP address, request time, browser details, and request data to deliver web content, respond to failures, prevent misuse, and protect the service. This information is encrypted in transit and may be retained as required for operations and security under applicable law and the provider’s policies.

5. Contact information

If you contact us by email, your email address and message are used to respond and resolve the issue. Contact records are retained only as needed after handling and are deleted on request when no legal obligation requires retention.

6. Access, correction, and deletion requests

You can delete notebooks and settings stored on your device through your browser or app’s Flow Math site-data controls. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of contact records or connection information held on a server, email [email protected]. We may request the minimum information needed to verify your identity. Information subject to a legal retention requirement is deleted after that period ends.

7. Changes to this policy

If our privacy practices change, we will update this page and its effective date before the new practices apply.
